Blogal Village

Today three great things have happened, the credit of which i give to my blog.

Firstly one of my long lost friends, Hari Sandhu, who was my class mate and my music mentor in the school right from fifth standard onwards, who now works for an FM in Delhi has contacted me after reading my blog post "
My Exploits on the Stage". I actually learnt 'sur and tal' of hindi songs from him.

Secondly,
Parry the composer has turned my poem ' तुम हो एक हवा का झोंका" into a melody. His music and his voice have brought out the frustration of the separation expressed in the poem, particularly a brief pause and change in the rhythm in the last stanza. Great job done. I wish him all the very best in his future musical ventures.

And thirdly i also learnt that Parry and me belong to the same institution.
World is so small.
I will call it a Blogal Village.

I will try and upload my song composed and sung by Parry.

EDITED TO ADD :- Incidentally let me also mention here that JP Joshi, who is now a blogger friend, also met me on my blog only. Joshi is an Indian Air Force Officer, an elite Fighter Pilot and served at Leh in 1984. After seeing my photograph of 1983 in my post "Just Struck Silver" he left a comment that whether i was in Leh in 1984. Though we had not formally met at that time and must have seen each other in some function or some party or at some other place at Leh like Defence Cinema Hall etc which we used to frequent often but hats off to his sharp memory. Thanks Joshi.
