An Ode to the Morning

I have originally written this poem in hindi "ओ सुबह" which is available in my other blog " कल्पना की उड़ान"

The day starts with your name
The world wakes to your smile
Birds chirp
Flowers bloom
The light spreads
When you open your eyes
And then
The day meets the dusk
And sleeps with your thought
The night turns and twists
With the only hope
That you will come again
Smiling , bringing
Another pleasant day
With you
Oh Morning !!

Oh come on
I expected the last words to be
OH JEET...
very beautiful, now I will go to the Hindi version on your other blog.

read both the versions. Obviously so mampi is referring to the feminity inherent in a beautiful morning. :D
I still dont know whether morning follows night or vice versa. ???

Manpreet, love will be such a drab an affair if it was called by same name every time. Love has countless synonyms.

Parry, yes most of the beautiful phenomina of Nature are personification of feminity.

Gazal, let me know how did you like it.

guess what Balvinder, i am sure you love your job and are an optimist. i know countless people who hate work day mornings.......so, can i say it is all in the mind.
